We end up with a recipe that many expected ... the recipe for vegan cookies!

Also, quick point: Recently someone asked me why I often use the word vegan instead of vegan when it comes to recipes. It's simply because in English there is only one word to speak about food or lifestyle. I live in New Zealand and use the word vegan, so it comes naturally to me when I speak French too. Nothing important but just a quick explanation seemed welcome.

I have tested many cookie recipes. As you can see in the following photos, it took me a while to find the perfect texture. The taste was always top but the consistency sometimes a little too oily, or on the contrary too dry like that of a biscuit. But finally ... that's it, I have it! The recipe for vegan cookies ✧ And since I do it regularly ... And for the little extras, accompany your cookies with a scoop of ice cream! Happiness in its purest form!

The recipe

Cookies Vegans

About 18 cookies Dry ingredients: 1 / 2 cup of unrefined sugar 1 cup of brown sugar 2 cups of flour (organic if possible) 1 small spoon of yeast 1 pinch of salt Wet ingredients: 1 / 4 cup of vegetable milk (milk of recommended soy) 1 / 2 cup of vegan butter 1 tablespoon of vanilla extract 1 cup of dark chocolate chips

Preheat your oven to about 170 degrees.

In a large bowl, pour in sugar and brown sugar. Add your vegetable milk, mix quickly, then add the vegetable butter. Mix with a wooden spoon to obtain a homogeneous consistency. Add vanilla extract, plus or minus half the flour, and yeast. Mix well. Make sure the flour is well incorporated into the wet mixture. Add the remaining flour and salt. Again, mix well. Finally, pour your dark chocolate chips. And ... shuffle one more time. Your dough cookie is ready!

With your hands, form small balls and flatten them slightly. This last step will allow your cookies to cook evenly. This can also allow you to freeze your cookie dough easily if you wish. Place these small balls on a baking sheet, leaving a reasonable space between each one. Let them bake for about fifteen minutes. Take a look regularly and adjust the cooking time according to your oven.

Let your cookies rest about ten minutes. Turn on Netflix, sit in front of your current show and enjoy these marvels ...
